Spring 2026 Baseball Registration

Spring 2026 Corvallis Little League Baseball

The goal of Corvallis Little League is to ensure that every family and player has fun, is challenged and learns to love baseball.

The 2026 Corvallis Little League Baseball program includes 6 established divisions for coed play, ages 4–12. All levels play at Crystal Lake Fields in South Corvallis.

Below are descriptions of each level of play to help you determine the best placement for your player. When registering, keep in mind it is OK and at times best for the player’s development to participate in the same level for more than one season.

Tee Ball (Ages 4 -7) For our younger players just starting out in baseball, tee ball is the entry level division that focuses on fun and the basic fundamentals. Tee ball is co-ed, but if your daughter is interested, CLL Softball may also be offering a tee ball program if there is enough interest. Buddy and coach requests are honored to the best of CLL's ability.

Rookie - Coach Pitch (Ages 5-8) In Rookie ball, coaches pitch to players, with hitting off a tee still an option if/as needed. This level of play still focuses on teaching the fundamentals of baseball. Buddy and coach requests are honored to the best of CLL's ability.

Single A - Player Pitch/Coach Relief (Ages 7-10) This level introduces player pitch with coach relief. Single A is for those who are ready to play with outs, balls and called strikes. We do not keep score at this level, but rather the focus is on developing as baseball players and learning to love the game of baseball. There are no walks at this level. Buddy and coach requests are honored to the best of CLL's ability.

Double A - Player Pitch/Coach Relief (Ages 9-12) AA is for our older players who are still developing in their baseball skills and knowledge of the game. This level is player pitch, with the option of coach relief (after 4 balls) to promote balls in play, situational baseball and player growth. AA is the bridge between pre-competitive and competitive baseball, and is a great option if your older child loves to play, but could use a less competitive environment in which to develop their skills. Teams may keep score at this level. Buddy and coach requests are honored to the best of CLL's ability.

***The next two divisions are considered CLL's "competitive" divisions. Placement is determined by attending an player evaluation. If you think your child is ready for more competitive play, register them for the evaluation pool and plan to attend the evaluation in February.

Triple A (Formally Minors) (Ages 8-11) This is the first “competitive” baseball division. It is entirely player pitch, where players add to their skills by learning how to make competitive plays, steal bases and win or lose. Teams are formed through a player skills evaluation. Ten-run rules are in effect at this level, and there is no coach relief for pitching. The regular season ends with a playoff to determine Corvallis Little League’s AAA League Champion team, followed by the potential for postseason tournament play against teams from other districts.

Majors (Ages 9-12) Majors is our most competitive level within Corvallis Little League. It is intended for players who have mastered the fundamentals and are ready to challenge themselves against the best little leaguers in town. Teams are formed through a player skills evaluation. Similar to AAA, the season ends with a playoff to determine Corvallis Little League’s Major League champion team, followed by the potential for postseason play against other districts. At the highest levels, Little League’s postseason tournaments culminate in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

League Age
League age is the players age as of 8/31/2026. You can find the Little League Age Calculator here. You will need to register for the division your player falls in and at the Skills and Drills Evaluation we will assess if they can move up or down based on skill level.

Volunteers
Corvallis Little League is an all volunteer run nonprofit and we need every parent and others to volunteer to make our season special. Volunteer roles differ based on division, but each team at all levels requires:
  • At least one coach
  • Concessions coordinator (to schedule volunteer days with other parents)
  • Field prep

Our upper level divisions also require:
  • At least one umpire volunteer
  • Scorekeepers
You can see a grid of Volunteer Roles needed at all Division levels and Position Descriptions here.
