Corvallis LL Softball Juniors are D7 Champions

Winning 12 - 2 on Friday night under the lights, our CLL Junior team returned for a 9 AM Saturday game and shut down Cascade 15 - 5.

Friday night started out hot with M. Miller hitting a triple in the 1st inning and driving in the first RBI. CLL Juniors tallied 13 hits with M. Miller, A. Hudson, S. Brust and M. Gault having multiple hits. S. Zimmerman allowed only 5 hits over 6 innings, striking out 2. M. Miller had 2 triples in the game and K. Zimmerman, O. Richardson, and S. Zimmerman had extra base hits. M. Gault had 2 RBI's, M. Miller, A. Hudson, K. Officer, K, Zimmerman, O. Richardson, S. Zimmerman, and A. Howitt all had 1 RBI.

Saturday saw CLL Juniors explode in the 3rd inning with M. Miller, O. Richardson, and M. Gault all knocking in runs. K. Zimmerman toed the rubber and went 5 innings, allowing 5 runs on 5 hits and striking out 9. M. Gault hit a triple in the game and K. Zimmerman, O. Richardson and S. Brust had extra base hits. M. Gault had 3 RBI's, S. Brust had 2 RBI's, and K. Musson, K. Zimmerman, O. Richardson, and K. Officer all had 1 RBI.
